You never know what you'll find in small towns especially with ethnic food so I wasn't holding my breath. I was hugely surprised with their tasty Thai food. Smelling the fish sauce upon entering was a good sign.
We ordered the Royal dumplings (identical to sui mai in Dim Sum) and the "egg rolls" which are normally called spring rolls in Thai restaurant but I think they did that as to not confuse customers from their summer spring rolls. Anyway, the dumplings were just okay, a bit on the drier side, but tasty. I wouldn't get them again. However the egg rolls were fantastic. The seasoning and ingredients were spot on as well as the nice light crunch on the skin. It's a keeper.
For meals, we had the crispy fried duck, pad Thai and pad kra praw seafood. The duck was cut into little strips and deep fried with a side of steamed veggies and sauce on the side. It had a nice crunch and decent amount of duck meat. Wasn't fond of the steamed veggies though. The pad Thai was excellent, not too sweet, and just right amount of fish sauce. One of the best I've had around the US. Lastly is the seafood dish. Didn't look pretty coming out (thus lack of pics) but tasted much better than it looked. The dish looked plain and boring but we enjoyed the subtle flavors of the dish. We'd order it again. We would definitely eat here often if we lived here. -

This place is always yummy! Get the cheese rolls, you're welcome. The green curry is my fave but honestly everything we have had is good. Cool restaurant with a cool view and nice servers :)

This is my favorite restaurant in Kerville. The yellow curry is so good it makes me feel like I am in Phuket. If you come for lunch and order an entree, it comes with the salad bar. Their salad bar does not just offer salad but they also serve soup and yummy dessert. You also must try their mango and sticky rice.

Soooo good! We had the spring rolls, Pad Ginger with chicken, and Pad Prik King with chicken. The Pad Prik King was very spicy and very flavorful. I loved it! And I always love a Thai ginger chicken and theirs had crispy vegetables mixed with the nice refreshing taste of ginger in a light sauce. We finished our meal with Thai sticky rice with mango. We lucked out with a good batch of mangoes. They were ripe, soft and sweet. Hands down, I think this is the best Thai sticky rice I've ever had.
We stopped in at this restaurant because we stopped for the night in Kerrville to break up a long road trip. We arrived only about 12 minutes before they closed, but they sat us with no complaints or bad attitudes and were very friendly to us even though they were probably hoping to leave soon. (There was one other table there that had just gotten their food). I normally don't walk into a restaurant that close to closing time, but sometimes circumstances require it. After several fast food meals on our road trip, we were glad to sit down to a well prepared meal.
Their service was excellent. The owner even delivered our spring rolls to our table and thanked us for coming in. The interior of the restaurant was cozy. It looked like it would be a great place for date night or a family dinner. They also showed us their patio, which was lit up with string lights and set to a backdrop of trees, the river and a gnarled old tree. It was early spring for my visit, but I imagine the patio is a great place to sit and enjoy the view when the weather is nice. -

Awesome Thai food in Kerville!!! Who knew...
Thai Basil Rice is awesome. but tonight it's crispy fired duck!
Shrimps in a blanket at a yummy app plus royal dumpling are also delish!!! Plus they are open on Sunday!! Hard to find that around here. The service is prompt as well with a good selection of wine and a smaller selection of beer. Bathrooms are clean as well!!! There is outdoor patio seating if it's not too hot!
